Redness
Abnormal reddening of the skin due to inflammation, sunburn, psoriasis, eczema, acne or infection is called redness or erythema. You can reduce redness by cleansing your skin twice a day with a mild, non-irritable cleanser. Use a mild, skin friendly moisturizer for effective hydration. Use products that have no fragrance, have few preservatives, are alcohol free and made of natural, organic ingredients. Contact your dermatologist if redness is accompanied by low grade fever, runny nose or excessive tiredness.
