I am allergic to the sun, but also allergic to chemical sunscreens (almost all sunscreens, even 'baby' or 'sensitive-skin' formulas). You can see the dilemma here, haha. Anyway, I love this because it's naturally derived from minerals (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide), and is chemical and scent free. It is kind of chalky, and a bit drying, i find, so put on a lot of moisturizer, and let it soak in for a good 15 minutes before applying the sunscreen. Then I usually wait another 5-10 minutes before putting on any makeup. There is a chance it will leave a chalky white residue on your clothes/carseats, but, for the luxury of being able to go out in the sun like a normal person, it's incredibly worth the hassle.

Almost as good as the La Roche Posay Anthelios liquid, it's actually a touch thinner than LRP. But alas this broke me out like crazy. It's weird because this is the only neutrogena sunscreen I've ever had a problem with,and I have literally used them all. If your skin can tolerate it, this isn't a bad substitute for LRP.

I love this sunscreen - it is perfect under makeup - light and no-oily. I received it as a gift with purchase at Shopper’s Drugs in B.C. and they carry it at a very good price here in the Vancouver area - it is often on sale.
