First, the texture is fibrous pulp, so it will not be thin and smooth Second, let me define irritation, what I mean is that the product will have the blood circulate to your face (skin), thus producing a reddish appearance, which may be mistaken as irritation...and you may feel a warm sensation, thus a by product of the blood circulation, This does dissipate over about 20-60 mnutes Third: Love this product...actually assists in minimizing and tightening pores, and firms the texture of your skin!! Skin is left soft & firm. Can be layered with other masques at same time.
