I love my clarisonic so much so i have to make sure I don't overuse it. After reading all the great reviews (and some bad ones too) I was convinced this would be the product that changed my life. Initially I used it twice a day with a foaming wash and started breaking out, first on one cheek, then on my upper lip, then on my forehead and finally small ones on my nose. This was in the first 2 weeks of using it twice a day (and was disinfecting the brush). But I had read that some people experience a "detoxifying" phase. Its been 5 weeks now everything has cleared up, the break out phases lasted only a couple a days for each area then disappeared as i continued my usual regimen. And now back to my normal skin but much more smoother and even and my pores are small. In retrospect it might have been less traumatic if I had started off once a day. But to each their own if you try it which i think everyone should don't be too rough, make sure you hold it lightly over your skin so it glides over let the sonic technology do the work and spare any extra trauma to the skin!

I use the Mia2 and I love it. Skin is very soft & no more dead skin patches. I use it with purity by philosophy.

It's very effective. I have extremely fine skin so I bought a separate head that is finer than the one that comes on it. It is so good that sometimes I have to skip a day to keep from irritating my skin but normal skin I'm sure would do well on a daily basis.
