This is hands down the best sunscreen for your face. And I know, because I've tried basically all of them. I'm a Skin Type 1, Celtic descent, always burns, never tans, so I wear sunscreen 365 days a year. I have tried every drugstore and department store sunscreen out there, and this one is hands down the best. It doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin, it doesn't break me out, and it offers outstanding broad spectrum protection. You can also wear it under your makeup, though I would recommend using a primer (but I would recommend that anyway). It's pricey, but worth every penny.
