The first time I used this I noticed its very harsh but it wasn't irritating. So after I kept using it, it started to sting REALLY bad while I used it and then afterwards it left my face red and enflamed. I soon realized my skin was sensitive to benzoyl peroxide (which is what it consists of), so if you're going to use it definitely make sure you aren't sensitive to it.

I've used this product for the past 10 years, if not even longer! I just turned 27 and I've been lucky to have normal and clear skin my entire life. I do get a few blackheads once in a while, but very rarely do I ever see a blemish on my face. The few I do get are quite small, and if I use this as a spot treatment, it's gone within about 2-3 days. Although I've tried other face washes in the past, I always find myself coming back to this! It just works great and I love that you can use the same product as a mask or nighttime spot treatment. I honestly have zero cons or complaints about this product. Some of my pros and raves: It's easy to find in any drugstore and online, affordable, a little dab goes a long way, you can FEEL the cleanser get into your pores and my skin always feels so fresh, clean, and healthy after I cleanse my face or get out of the shower. I've never had any irritation with this product or any benzoyl peroxide based cleanser, so this is great for me. I've gone back to this product time after time ever since I was in my early teens, and I still use it today for a very simple reason -- it's fabulous! :)

Great mask! Skin tingles while drawing out impurities! Better to use as mask vs. cleanser. Rinse thoroughly to remove clay mask. Good to use weekly especially for my oily acne prone skin. Best value for drugstore brand.
