Eczema
Eczema is an allergic skin reaction that results in a rash like skin condition known as atopic dermatitis. It’s quite common in infants and many people outgrow it by early adulthood. Allergies to pollen, mold, dust mites, or animals, colds or the flu, contact with rough materials, dry skin, exposure to environmental irritants, exposure to water, feeling too hot or too cold, fragrances or dyes added to skin lotions or soaps, and stress make eczema symptoms worse. Reducing irritation, proper medication, effective moisturization, avoiding the urge to scratch, avoiding sweaty and humid conditions, consuming a healthy diet all help in reducing eczema woes.
