My skin gets really oily as the day goes on but around my nose, chin, and cheeks seem dry and the skin is flakey but the skin underneath is still oily. I have no idea what's going or how to deal with it!

I used to use the sponge wedges, but then a makeup artist told me that's waste of product and that I should just use my fingers.
