Sunscreen then moisturizer?

I use cerave am SPF 30 which is mostly a chemical sunscreen. Do chemical sunscreens go on first so they can absorb into the skin, then moisturizer? And do I have to wait for the sunscreen to absorb first before moisturizer?

Actually you should use sunscreen last. So first moisturizer, then sunscreen. Put on sunscreen at least 20 minutes before sun exposure so the sunscreen can be absorbed (the moisturizer doesn't stop that process). There are quite a few products that are both moisturizer and sunscreen, so you don't have to go through two steps.
