Proactive?

My breakouts have gotten a little worse, and my mom is suggesting I should use Proactive. I'm not so sure about it since I have read reviews about it being extremely full of chemicals, drying out your skin, and overall not good. Is there an acne line that I could use that has gotten a good rating or that you've used and have gotten results from?

Dermalogica , any gentle glycolic wash or toners, and obagi clenziderm are good too! Just remember that pretty much all acne cleansers are too harsh for everyday use. I learned to alternate w a gentle cleanser every other day or so and it's really helped.

Clinique 3 steps, it's gentle and works well.

Alba acnedote. The face wash, is good. But the astringent and the exfoliant are AMAZING!!! I've heard that proactive it ok but as soon as you stop using it you break out really bad.
