How to get rid of itching during winter season.

As the winter months sets in, the weather turns colder, windier and drier. My skin type is dry and it produces itching on my skin during winter. Due to repeated rubbing and scratching, skin become worse & cracked, especially in areas subject to chronic trauma (e.g., hands and feet). Can anyone suggest me how to get rid of itching?

I also apply a hand lotion in the evening before bed. For hands and feet, try applying a super rich moisturizer before bed and then lock in that moisturizing cream by putting on gloves or socks. You'll wake up with really soft hands and feet! Works for me all the time. Try this and hope this helps with your itchy skin!

Just make sure your skin doesn't get dehydrated. Going from warm places into the cold ones isn't good for your skin, so use a handlotion every evening so they can recover =)

Take Care of your skin in the Winters! Agree, itching brings on a lot of strife and pain... I end up getting those bleeding cracks and cuts after a lot of itching too... My savior has been a regular apricot oil massage. I use pure apricot oil and rub it all over my body, let it stay on for 10-15 mins, then head for a nice luxurious bath w/ tepid water. I do this self- therapy once in 15 days. Works wonders:)
