I noticed that even people who normally have oily skin can develop dry, irritated, itchy skin in the summer months. Intense heat as well as excess sweating can all increase this aggravating condition. However, the use of high quality body lotions containing lavender, shea butter, or almond milk can provide natural relief and protection. Beauty care products, such as shower gels and lotions, that contain these ingredients protect and soothe irritated skin.

What do you currently use? I also have dry skin during the summer. It helps to moisturize as soon as you step out of the shower. The pores on your skin are open and that's when you want to apply your body lotion or moisturizer. It makes the biggest impact and leaves your skin silky smooth and happy for the rest of the day. :) Hope this helps!

For easing out dry skin problems in summer, go for a water-based/ gel moisturizer. The product needs to be lightweight (not very heavy) and should not leave a sticky feel on your skin. Regular exfoliation with AHAs/ Fruit acids will reduce your dry skin problems!
